Ravencall Project Plan

I: (completed Oct. 2006)

The establishment of a website, along with a preliminary database of information regarding student rights and school law, to create a central hub of information for students and parents (and to educate the public on matters of student rights and school law) in addition to a basic frame for the expansion of the Project.

II: (Expected completion July 2007)

The finalization of the initial manuals providing an overview of student rights and school law designed to quickly and effectively inform students and parents of their respective rights and to educate the public on matters of school law and student rights.

III: (Expected completion Fall 2007)

The creation of an internet community centered around the site to strongly reinforce the free flow of information and assistance available to students and parents, to promote and support reform of the education system, and to provide assistance and support to students and parents regarding disputes with school districts, questions of policy and student rights, and questions of school law.

IV: (Expected completion Winter 2007)

The creation of an initial directory of activists, advocates, and assistance to provide a simple reference point to help individuals and families locate assistance in a particular location, to help advocates and activists join forces quickly and easily, to further the interconnected community necessary for the success of III, and to further reinforce the flow of information and assistance available to students and parents.

Further expansions:

Ravencall is designed to expand and adapt to changing needs and environments. It is safe to assume that the expansions listed above are not the full, final outline of the Project.
